Yeah 30 degrees is cold to me too, and I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I should be used to it, but I have to wear like three layers of jackets when I go out at night. I'm sorry you have roommate issues. I was actually talking about the dorm thing with my Greek professor today and he thinks that colleges should plan the dorm rooms so the rooms themselves are singles and then have common areas for the students to mingle. You wouldn't need the rooms to be quite as large as a double room and it would cut down on roommate issues. Because most students have grown up with their own room and then to thrust them into a situation where they constantly have another person there is just asking for disaster.
